(Tokyo, June 18, 2022): The Government of Pakistan gifted stones of Nefrit, Lapis, and Black Granite to the local Government of City of Biratori, Japan. These stones were laid by Ms. Ismat Hassan Sial, Charge d' Affaires (a.i.) at the Etonbea-Smanonno Hi park. Mr. Endoh Keiichi, Mayor of Biratori city and Mr. Masato Kimura, Chairman, Atom Co. Ltd were also present on the occasion. All the participants appreciated the gift of stones for a local stone park commemorating Ainu history.
Addressing the audience on this occasion, Ms. Ismat Hassan Sial said that Pakistan and Japan have enjoyed uninterrupted, friendly relations for past 70 years. Further enhancement of these bilateral relations is an ongoing effort. Pakistan will look forward to further working with the Government and people of Hokkaido and Biratori to deepen bilateral relations in all aspects of life.
