The Embassy wishes to inform all esteemed and concerned members of the Community that Mr. Khan Waseem Ahmed is currently under treatment at Kasugai Rehabilitation Hospital, a mental rehabilitation facility for Higher Brain Dysfunction. Mr. Khan is, Alhamdulillah, in a stable physical condition, however, his mental condition needs further improvement for which the hospital is working diligently. Mr. Khan is under treatment at the cited facility since 10 March, 2014. Earlier, the Embassy circulated the information on Mr. Khan to all Pakistani community through Pakistani media nets in Japan on 27 June, 2014.
We wish to also share that while the mental health treatment is likely to continue for the next few months, the Hospital, however, does not allow any visitors as it risks the mental health of the patient. Understanding in this regards is therefore very important and Hospital rules must be respected.
The Embassy reassures the esteemed members of our community residing in Japan of its continued support and reaffirms its commitment to extend every possible assistance in not only maintaining its direct relationship with every single member of the community across Japan but shall also continue to widening its outreach through all available resources. In the meantime we urge everyone during the holy month of Ramadan to pray for the speedy recovery of Mr. Khan.
In light of the above we will once again urge the members of the esteemed community to register themselves.
