Tokyo: The Defence Day 2015 was commemorated at the Embassy, in particular highlighting the 50th Anniversary of the 1965 war. The well attended event, followed by a reception drew politicians, diplomats and senior military officers of Japan and other countries.
Ambassador Farukh Amil in his address highlighted the valour and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Whilst elaborating upon the Honourable Prime Minister’s policy of ‘Peaceful Neighbourhood’, the Ambassador underlined Pakistan’s capabilities and the resolve to deter and defeat any aggression.
