Ambassador Farukh Amil called on the Ombudsman of Japan Mr. Yukata Arai, (Director General, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications). He briefed him on the efforts and achievements of the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman) in Pakistan, in particular the proactive policies to assist the citizens in achieving speedy resolution of their issues.
The Ambassador also invited the Ombudsman to visit Pakistan to attend the 14th Asian Ombudsman Association (AOA) Conference and the 17th AOA Board of Directors (BoD) Meeting to be held on 24-25 November 2015 at Islamabad.
