(Tokyo, March 1, 2022): The Embassy hosted participants of Minato City World Festival and Stamp Rally at the Chancery today. A number of Japanese citizens from different walks of life participated in the event.
The Ambassador in his remarks highlighted close and friendly relations between Pakistan and Japan. He also informed that Pakistan and Japan are commemorating 70th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relation in the year 2022 for which a number of events are being held. The participants were briefed about the tourism potential as well as rich culture heritage of Pakistan. The participants expressed their keen desire to visit Pakistan as soon as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
The event helped showcase rich cultural heritage of Pakistan to a cross segment of Japanese society and was well appreciated by the participants.
