Ambassador Farukh Amil visited Osaka and Kobe on September 12 and 13, 2013 to meet with the Pakistani community in the Kansai Region

          Ambassador Farukh Amil visited Osaka and Kobe on September 12 and 13, 2013 to meet with the Pakistani community in the Kansai region. It was a follow up to the earlier interaction with the Pakistani community of Kansai area in February 2013.

          The Ambassador while speaking on the occasion of the community meeting held at the Consulate of Pakistan, Osaka on September 12, 2013 said that all Pakistanis living in Japan were contributing commendably in the development of Pakistan.  Their support through business and remittances was extremely important.  He asked them to use their contacts and experience to promote bilateral trade and investment. He informed them about the steps being taken by the Embassy to facilitate issues affecting the community. He reiterated that the Embassy would always be available to help the community to solve their legitimate problems in Japan. He said that the Embassy would welcome all workable proposals from the community. After the speech there was a lengthy question-answer session.

          An informal meeting with the Pakistani community of Kobe was also held in the Kobe Masjid meeting room. The Ambassador asked the community members to have frequent interaction with the Embassy so that the latter could facilitate the community in befitting ways.
