Tokyo (31 July, 2013) Ambassador Farukh Amil along with Economic team of the Embassy visited NEC Corporation and held meeting with Mr. Kaoru Yano, Chairman of the Board and senior staff members of the Corporation. NEC has been working in Pakistan since 1963 focusing on telecommunication system. NEC intends to offer more solutions to Pakistan, both in public and private sectors in the fields of energy and security.
The Chairman congratulated on smooth democratic transition in Pakistan. He hoped that the present PML-N Government business friendly policies will help boost foreign investment in Pakistan. Ambassador proposed the Chairman that the Corporation may impart internships for young Pakistani software engineers. The Ambassador invited NEC to attend the Expo 2013 in Karachi in September.
