Tokyo (July 14, 2013) – Pakistan Embassy organized a seminar in collaboration with a Japanese NPO Girl’s Bee which works for empowerment of women by helping and guiding them find jobs in fields of their own choice. Dr. Talat Imtiaz, Minister Economic coordinated the seminar. She shared her own experiences with the participants saying that women in Pakistan are contributing tremendously in all walks of life including armed forces, civil services, engineering, health and education. The participants were shown a documentary about Pakistan to introduce its history, culture, tourism and sports. Ms. Ogawa Founder of the NPO noted that she believes women can have most enjoyable life if they simply learn to be themselves and contribute to society. In this context it held many seminars in different prefectures of Japan to attract women in practical life, she added.
