Entrance Ceremony at Nippon Sport Science University

      Tokyo: An Entrance Ceremony hosted by Mr. Kenshiro Matsunami, President, Nippon Sport Science University Group was held at Nittai Ebara High School - renowned for sports’ education activities.  Ambassador Farukh Amil (فاروق عامل) alongwith iconic sports personality, Pakistan’s Goodwill Ambassador for Sports and Upper House Parliamentarian Mr. Antonio Inoki were the chief guests at the ceremony.  The students were introduced at the ceremony.  The University marching band played at the conclusion.  Abid Haroon Jhara, young student from Pakistan, scion of Jhara Pehlwan family was amongst the new entrants.  Mr. Inoki reiterated his quest to enhance sports exchanges between Pakistan and Japan and encourage young students to study sports sciences in Japan. 

      The Ambassador underlined that education was critical for any country’s development and prosperity, stressing that the students of today were the leaders of tomorrow.  In congratulating the new entrants and their parents, he praised the educational standards of Japan.    

      Later on a tree plantation ceremony was held.  The Ambassador alongwith the President planted a cherry tree at the entrance of the school.  President speaking informally on this occasion said that the tree would be a reminder of the everlasting friendship between Pakistan and Japan.
