(Tokyo, March 23, 2024): A simple and graceful flag hoisting ceremony was held today at the Embassy of Pakistan, Tokyo with traditional fervor.
The ceremony commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem of Pakistan. Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar hoisted the national flag while the National Anthem was played.
The Ambassador read out the Pakistan Day Messages of the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar. He also paid tribute to the Pakistani community in Japan for its achievements and contributions.
Special Supplements were published in two leading English newspapers of Japan. National Day of Pakistan related gatherings were also arranged in different parts of Japan by community groups.
