Pakistan successfully managed to send its first commercial export of mangoes to Japan this week. Sales were formally inaugurated by the importing company a notable Japanese corporation. A promotional event on July 29, 2013 was held at a prominent venue in the bustling district of Harajuku. It was attended by exclusively invited guests from different walks of life including the officers from the Embassy of Pakistan.
It was a well attended event with the introduction by the private sector representative of the Japanese importer who praised Pakistan and its business potential. The audience was informed that Pakistan mango was the most flavoured and the delicious mango in the world, at the end of the event the guests were presented Pakistani mangoes who greatly appreciated. Pakistani Mangoes will now be sold at prominent departmental stores and retail outlets in Japan.
