Former Minister and leading Parliamentarian, Honourable Member of the National Assembly Ms. Tahmina Daultana, participated in the 30th Asian Parliamentarian's Meeting on Population and Development in Tokyo.
The event was organized by the former Prime Minister of Japan the Honourable Mr. Yasuo Fukuda. During the visit the Parliamentarians reaffirmed the importance of democracy for development and highlighted that democracy had taken root in Pakistan. During the visit Ms. Daultana, MNA met with numerous Parliamentarians including Member of the House of Councillors (Upper House) Ms. Aiko Shimajiri, Chairperson, Committee on Environment, Liberal Democratic Party and Senator of Okinawa Prefecture.
