Tokyo: Ambassador Farukh Amil (فاروق عامل) and Minister Economic Dr. Talat Imtiaz met with the Senior Vice-President Mr. Kensuke Tsuzuki, Japan International Training Cooperation Organization (JITCO). In a lengthy and detailed discussion the two sides examined options and opportunities in addressing the technical and skilled labour shortages being faced by Japan. The Ambassador highlighted the vast opportunities of Pakistan’s youthful population that had proven capabilities in numerous countries. Accordingly Japan and Pakistan should engage in mutually beneficial arrangements. The Ambassador encouraged JITCO to impart training for young Pakistanis under its established and successful programmes.
