Japanese Donation of Toys to SOS Village

 

189 boxes of Educational toys donated by a Japanese Entrepreneur were distributed  to the 15 locations of SOS Children's Villages in  Pakistan including Lahore, Dhodial, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Multan, Sialkot, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Karachi, Jamshoro, Quetta and Peshawar.

These toy boxes were given by a Japanese Businessman through Dr. Talat Imtiaz, Economic Minister at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo.

On Saturday, 22nd August 2015 a small ceremony was held at the Community Center of SOS Children’s Village Lahore where these boxes were given to the orphan children.

The boxes contained  Jigsaw puzzle, English alphabets ,building blocks, stickers, A battery-run musical gadget, hand puppets- 'Leap' and 'Eight man; the two cartoon characters on which this set of educational toys is themed., DVD cases, and   Illustrated dictionary of English words.
