(Tokyo, January 02, 2024): The Government and people of Pakistan are deeply concerned over the strong earthquake that struck off the coast of Japan yesterday. We are hopeful that the resourcefulness of the Japanese people will enable them to cope well with the disaster. We stand with the friendly people and government of Japan as Japan has always stood by us in whenever Pakistan has been struck by a natural disaster be it the 2005 earthquake or the 2022 floods.
