Find The Match - Business networking event for SCCI delegation

Tokyo: Embassy of Pakistan organized a business interactive (B2B) networking session of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) business mission in the Embassy of Pakistan.  The delegation comprised 11 members from Pakistan, who represented the leading manufacturers-cum-exporters of sports goods, sportswear, surgical and dental instruments and security gear sectors.  The Embassy had made extensive arrangements for the meetings of the delegates with their Japanese counterparts.


The meetings with Japanese entrepreneurs were organized in order to pursue the drive to enhance bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and Japan through direct private sector engagement.  During the meetings the entrepreneurs from both sides met and learnt about the potential business opportunities. Notable interest was found amongst local business community.


Ambassador Farukh Amil in his welcome speech urged the Japanese companies to look Pakistan which offered immense opportunities for business and investment. He apprised them about the specific potential of sports goods and surgical instruments production in the city of Sialkot.He invited them to visit Sialkot in particular where they could find world-class products of their interest plus a unique and long established entrepreneurship of the people of the area. The Ambassador stressed that Pakistan can be the best sourcing market for them.


Commercial Counsellor oversaw all the arrangements of the “Business Match Event.” On the side lines of the B2B session, he highlighted that the opportunities were there but guided by the Embassy of Pakistan, businessmen could find their perfect match.  He underlined that the vast majority in the networking session was introducing brand new potential partners to each other, thereby creating the possibility of new openings.


During the B2B meetings a working lunch was served where an informal interaction took place between the Japanese entrepreneurs of the focused products and the Pakistani delegates.
