Tokyo: A presentation on Pakistan-Japan relations was held at the Embassy on Friday evening focusing in particular on culture and art and also business opportunities in Pakistan. The event was arranged in conjunction with leading Japanese NPO, the ‘Earth Identity Project’ headed by Madam Hiroko Kawahara. The session and following discussion covered many aspects, including those pertaining to socio-economic issues, Pakistan’s role in global peace-keeping, empowerment of women in Pakistan especially through democracy and the history of warm, friendly ties between Pakistan and Japan.
