Mission's endeavour is to continue deep and intensive engagement with Pakistani Community across the Japan. Accordingly Mr. Adnan Javaid, Community and Consular Affairs Officer visited Niigata to establish one day Consular Camp on 25 April 2015 at Niigata Port Centre. This was second Consular Camp for the benefits of Pakistani Community in Niigata since June last year.
Range of Consular services as required by Community were provided on the spot. Later a Community meeting was held at the Islamic Culture Centre Niigata where community members (around 55) across the Prefecture participated enthusiastically. Embassy's efforts of visiting various cities to provide the Consular services at their doorsteps were appreciated by Community members from Niigata and surrounding towns. In addition to providing Consular services visit also afforded a valuable opportunity to be cognizant of Community's interests by seeking firsthand knowledge of their issues with an active view to securing solutions.
