Tokyo: An Eid Millan Party was organized by members of the Pakistani community in Mizumoto Park Katsushika, Tokyo. Mr. Adnan Javaid Consular and Community Affairs Officer (CCAO) and Mr. Rana Waheed, Country Manager PIA were Guests of Honour. Families and children of Pakistan communities participated enthusiastically. A quiz programme was arranged for children to introduce basic tenets of Islam and history of Pakistan followed by a drawing/painting competition.
T The Consular and Community Affairs Officer highlighted the importance for introducing Pakistan’s culture and traditions to the next generation, in particular children of shared heritage in Japan. The CCAO informed that the Embassy will continue to support the community in all events promoting and involving the youth in activities focusing on education, culture and science. Handing out prizes to the children, the CCAO congratulated and thanked the organizers for providing an opportunity to families to interact in a healthy and positive way.
