The Biggest Painting in the World 2016

Tokyo: A charity event on the occasion of "The Biggest Painting in the World 2016.2020“ and for the recovery of Tohoku devastated area was held in a local hotel here. The event was organized by Madam Hiroko Kawahara, President of NPO Earth Identity Project.  The paintings done by the students of different countries including Pakistan were displayed in the Hall.   The First Lady of Japan, Madame Akie Abe was the Chief Guest.  Ambassador Farukh Amil participated alongwith several Ambassadors as a special invitee of a country which had contributed to the project.  Children from Gilgit-Baltistan, Lahore, Hayatabad, KPK and Quetta, Balochistan contributed their paintings which were prominently displayed. 

The First Lady appreciated Madam Kawahara for her idea of the project to help bring the children of the world together and promote peace. The Embassy has been supporting the Earth Identity Project and has involved Pakistani children from all Provinces in this noble and creative project.  The world’s biggest painting is to be displayed at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and later at a High School in Hiroshima.
