Kobe: Ambassador Farukh Amil (فاروق عامل) visited the M.V.M Shoji Co. Ltd in Kobe to hold meeting with the President and company executives, which is one of the largest importers of fresh fruits & vegetables in the Western Japan. It imported the first commercial consignment of Pakistani mangoes in Japan in 2013. Mr. Kiyoshi Ishida, the President explained the networking of the company in Japan and major areas of their expertise. He shared their experience and willingness to work with Pakistani companies.
The Ambassador invited him to visit Expo Pakistan 2015 and to hold meetings with the leading exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables. He explained the unique taste and aroma of Pakistani fresh fruits. He asked the President to also consider importing vegetables from Pakistan and to explore opportunities in importing the food products like juices, jams etc. The President promised to visit Pakistan during Expo Pakistan 2015.
