Ambassador Farukh Amil hosted Iftar dinner in honour of Pakistani community living in Kansai region. While addressing the community, he informed about the steps being undertaken by the Embassy for the better coordination and facilitation for the community members and briefed on the organization of Consular Camps in different parts of Japan as well as efforts being undertaken for the welfare of Pakistani prisoners.
The Ambassador on the occasion reiterated the request for Pakistani citizens to register themselves with the Embassy for effective and timely communication of information. He also informed the participants that the Embassy had taken up the case with the concerned authorities in Pakistan for the early installation of Machine Readable Passport facility in Tokyo.
