(22-02- 2017): Mr. Kenichiro Hirai, the newly appointed Assistant General Manager Karachi Office of Mitsubishi and his team called on the Ambassador and Commercial Counsellor on 20 February, 2017. He stated that during his tenure he wished to make further efforts to develop Mitsubishi’s business and projects in Pakistan. While appreciating Japanese technology in general and that of Mitsubishi Corporation in particular, and its engagement with Pakistan’s economy, the Ambassador stated that Mitsubishi should plan more expansion in Pakistan. He highlighted the profitability of Japanese companies in Pakistan and hoped for continued success and further investments that would generate employment opportunities and skill enhancement to other parts of Pakistan by utilizing the huge potential that exists in the economy of Pakistan in the shape of rapidly growing middle class.
