Visit of 4th PJBF SME Business Mission Embassy hold business networking event for match finding

Commercial Section of the Embassy of Pakistan in Japan organized a business interactive (B2B) networking session of Fourth Pakistan-Japan Business Forum (PJBF) SME Business Mission at the embassy.

The delegation comprised 16 members from Pakistan, who represented the leading manufacturers-cum-exporters of textiles, pharmaceutical, surgical, IT, engineering and shipping sectors. The embassy had made extensive arrangements for the meetings of the delegates with their Japanese counterparts.

The meetings with Japanese entrepreneurs and retail chain stores were organized to enhance bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and Japan through direct private sector engagement. During the meetings, the entrepreneurs from both sides met and learnt about the potential business opportunities. Notable interest was found amongst local business community.

On the sidelines of the B2B session, Ambassador Farukh Amil highlighted that the opportunities were there but guided by the Embassy of Pakistan, businessmen could find their perfect match. He underlined that the vast majority in the networking session was introducing brand new potential partners to each other, thereby creating the possibility of new openings. Mr. Sohail P Ahmad Chairman, Pakistan-Japan Business Forum (PJBF) informed the participants that the current SME delegation visit will not only raise awareness about Pakistan and its market, but will result in arousing enough interest amongst Japanese entrepreneurs to culminate in business ventures with the members of the visiting delegation.
