Japan through a Pakistani Lens


    

(23-06-2017): In connection with string of events being organized by the Embassy of Pakistan to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of Pakistan-Japan Relations, a photo exhibition was held under the title ‘Japan through a Pakistani Lens’. The exhibition showcased more than 100 photographic work of Ms. Javeria Qadeer, a talented Pakistan photographer based in Japan. Mr. Seishiro Eto, Chairman Japan-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship League Mr. Shinkun Haku, Member of the House of Commons and Mr. Antonio Inoki an International Sports Legend and Member House of Councillors were the guests of honour. Head of various diplomatic missions and people from different walks of life attended the event.

    

Mirza Salman Babar Beg, Charge d’ Affairs a.i welcomed all the guests and highlighted the strength of Japan-Pakistan friendship. He stated that exhibition has organized in connection with celebrations of 65th Anniversary of Pak-Japan Relations. He reiterated that relations between the two countries have always remained cordial and co-operation between the two countries in all fields is testimony to it. He hoped that these relations between the two countries would further deepen and expand.

   

Guests of Honour Mr. Eto appreciated the effort of Ms. Javeeria Qadeer and acknowledged her talent in presenting Japanese culture, style and way of living in a mesmerizing manner.
