Deputy Chief of Mission meets Pakistani community in Fukuoka

Fukuoka: Mirza Salman Babar Beg, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Pakistan, Japan met with leaders of Pakistani community on a visit to Fukuoka city. The interaction was aimed at getting to know any challenges or problems being faced by Pakistani diaspora in the city. In their remarks, community leaders were appreciative of consular services being rendered by the Embassy and suggested measures to further improve it. The DCM thanked the community for it’s valuable suggestions and noted in his comments that Pakistan community in Fukuoka undertook relentless efforts to help affected people of Kyushu earthquake and provided food, clothing and other amenities of life for over a month in partnership with larger Pakistani community in Japan. He reiterated the importance of community cohesion and underscored it’s awareness of responsibilities to wider Japanese society. In the end the community leaders thanked the Embassy for it’s concern about their well being and sending a representative to meet them.
