Tokyo (June 06, 2013) – The Ambassador Farukh Amil (فاروق عامل) accompanied by Minister (Economic) Dr. Talat Imtiaz paid a visit to Hamamatsu, the home of Suzuki Motor Corporation where they visited the car plant and met with senior Suzuki executives. The Ambassador also had meeting with Mr. Osamu Suzuki, the Chairman and CEO of the Suzuki Motor Corporation.
The Ambassador urged the Chairman to invest more in Pakistan particularly in human resource development especially by training of young Pakistanis in Japan. Mr. Suzuki in giving a warm welcome, reiterated his company’s support for Pakistan and agreed that Japanese technological know-how and education should be imparted to Pakistani youth. He welcomed the Ambassador’s suggestions and said that the Suzuki Motor Corporation would consider them positively.
